Presented by Business For Good, San Diego County Office of Labor & Standards Enforcement (OLSE), and City Heights CDC
Join this free workshop to hear the rights and responsibilities for employers during Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) enforcement actions. ICE actions include I-9 audits and workplace visits, sometimes referred to as “raids,” which are often unannounced, with the intention of identifying and detaining undocumented workers. Staying calm, informed, and prepared helps protect both employers and workers.
Business owners, workers, and community members are all welcome to attend and learn important information about what can be done before, during, and after enforcement actions to help maintain safe compliant workplaces.
We’ll be covering your rights and responsibilities as an employer and for employees, information about how to plan in advance to protect your home, car, valuables, etc. in the event of being detained or deported.
