IGC is a San Diego based nonprofit that advances environmental justice through education and engagement.

We believe that climate action should be grounded in science-based education and justice. To address long-standing social and ecological harms, we align our work with global frameworks including UNESCO’s Education for Sustainable Development, the Paris Agreement, and the UN’s recognition of the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.

We run engaging programs that teach climate literacy, helping people understand the climate crisis, how it disproportionately affects marginalized communities, and what actions they can take to create change in their own spheres of influence.
