Join us for our monthly in-person gathering where we provide general BFG updates, meet new members, promote upcoming events and offers, and hear from guest speakers.

This is a closed meeting open only to BFG members. Guests may attend one time.

The entrance to the co-working space is up the stairs on S 21st St between Commercial St. and Julian Ave. There is free street parking around San Diego Made Factory.

Speaker

Maren Kavanagh (she/her), Education & Events Coordinator, I Love A Clean San Diego

Maren grew up in Chicago and moved to San Diego to study at the University of San Diego, where she graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies, Political Science and Sociology. She brings experience in education, project management and event planning to her current role, where she works with residents across San Diego County to reduce waste and improve participation in local recycling and organic recycling systems.

She is passionate about the conservation of natural spaces, sustainable food systems, and making zero waste living accessible for all. Outside of work, Maren enjoys live music, road trips, dance, and aerial arts.
