Join us for the first annual BFG Day of Service, in support of San Diego Climate Week!
You asked for more ways to volunteer together, and we listened. That’s why BFG is launching a new annual tradition of rolling up our sleeves and giving back as a community.
This year’s event proudly supports another inaugural event – San Diego Climate Week - and we’re partnering with San Diego Canyonlands to promote canyon health while enjoying fresh air and connecting with our community.
We’ll be helping remove non-native plants and trash from Swan Canyon, an important open space in City Heights that offers both wildlife habitat and access to nature for local residents. Since non-native plants can act as flash fuels during a wildfire, removing these plants will protect the canyon and surrounding homes.
