Join us for our monthly in-person gathering where we provide general BFG updates, meet new members, promote upcoming events and offers, and hear from guest speakers.


This is a closed meeting open only to BFG members. Guests may attend one time.


The entrance to the co-working space is up the stairs on S 21st St between Commercial St. and Julian Ave. There is free street parking around San Diego Made Factory.

About May's Guest Speaker

Susanna Peredo Swap is an award-winning producer, journalist, and film director with more than 25 years of experience across arts administration, performance, and cultural advocacy. She is the founder and CEO of Vanguard Culture, a nonprofit advancing San Diego’s creative workforce through award-winning arts journalism, professional development, and innovative cross-industry experiences. 

Previously, she curated more than 80 exhibitions and led a dynamic performing arts series for the San Diego International Airport Art Program. Today, she serves on several regional and national boards, including the San Diego Museum Council, Women in Tourism & Hospitality International, and the San Diego Press Club, and has held key advisory roles for initiatives such as World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024 and UCSD-TV’s ARTS Channel.

Under her leadership, Vanguard Culture has earned 82 Awards for Excellence in Journalism, two Gold Anthem Awards presented by the Webbys, and national recognition on the National Geographic Channel.
